With this project, we will be able to continue our work with children, adolescents, and their families in Tierra Bomba Island. We currently work with the community, directly impacting 1,006 people and indirectly 2,672 people. We welcome over 500 children from the island and seek to involve the entire family nucleus to contribute to the eradication of poverty, through the implementation of our comprehensive model, which promotes six areas of human development.

Challenge

Beyond the enchantments of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), there is a glimpse of its true reality that almost no one sees. It is the second poorest city in Colombia, more than 50,742 children are under extreme vulnerability, exposed to drugs from an early age, mistreatment, gangs and the specter of child sex tourism. With this project, we will be able to protect children and provide them with nutritional care, education, and psychological support.

Long-Term Impact

Your valuable contribution will enable children who are living in high-risk environments to have the opportunity of living a dignified life, ultimately changing mistreatment, abuse, and pain. We will increase education and entrepreneurs in the community making Cartagena stronger.
